JD SPORTSJD Sports Fashion Plc has long been established as the leading UK retailer of sport inspired fashion apparel and footwear. The JD group has grown to some 500 stores, under a variety of fascias, through organic growth and acquisitions. Recently the group expanded to France through the acquisition of Chausport. Railston were delighted to be involved in installing one of the first JD fascia sites at Evry, near Paris. As main contractor, Railston created the project programme and dealt with legal and health and safety requirements to allow the work to proceed in France. Railston managed the installation, looking after all trades and nominated contractors. The store was very well received by both customers and local press.
