Working alongside Blue Inc and their designers, Dalziel & Pow, Railston refurbished the site on Oxford Street which was covered by an English Heritage protection order. Special care had to be taken at all stages of the shopfit and thorough planning was needed to ensure compliance.

Works were run in two phases: the basement and then the ground floor. The full shopfit included electrical and lighting installation, air conditioning, ventilation, decoration, installation of shop equipment and a bespoke cash desk.

An English Heritage approved plasterer was used to restore the intricate cornices and a specialist shop front, made from brass-clad hardwood was also formed. The flooring comprised vintage oak floor boards. In contrast to this,  a specialist graffiti artist created the decoration. The project was finished with a star-studded opening party which featured in OK magazine under the headline ”painting the town blue.”
